Freelance web design

Websites that make your business look as good as it is.

I build websites for local shops, cafes, salons and offices. Most people will find you on their phone long before they find your front door, so that's what I build for.

  • Built to load fast on phones
  • Designed from scratch for your business
  • Live on your own domain

How it works

Nothing to sign up front.

I'll show you a design before we talk about money. If it isn't right, I'll change it. If you'd rather not go ahead, that's the end of it.

  1. We talk about the vibe

A quick chat about what you do and who your customers are. If you've seen sites you like the look of, send them over. If you haven't, I'll bring a few.

  2. I build you a mockup

I go away and build a working preview with your name on it, so you can open it on your own phone and see exactly what you'd be getting.

  3. Then we talk price

Once you've seen it, we agree a price for the work in front of you. Then I finish the build and put it live on your own domain.

Examples

A look at the range.

A few sample concepts to show the range of styles. Yours would be designed from scratch, but these give an idea of what's possible.

Cedar & Ash Coffee House

Big photos, warm colours, and the menu one tap away. The job here is making a small room look worth sitting in.

CafeSingle page

Lume Hair Studio

Plenty of white space, and a booking button that follows you down the page on a phone.

SalonBooking-led

Halden & Rowe

Accountants get judged on whether they look reliable, so there's nothing decorative on this one.

AccountantsMulti-page

Meridian Partners

A darker treatment, for firms that want to seem established before you've read a word.

ConsultancyCorporate

The businesses above are invented, but the pages are real and built the same way yours would be.

Packages

Two ways to work together.

Most businesses land in one of these two. If you want something in between, just say so.
